Mexican Cacao Ceremony

A Mexican Cacao Ceremony goes deep, is magical and an ancient ritual to connect with your own energy and wisdom. We want to invite you to join one of our ceremonies to experience what ‘mama cacao’ has to offer to you.

What to expect

The ceremony lasts about 2 hours and takes place twice a month: around the new moon and the full moon. Together we will meditate, drink ceremonial cacao, open up and share what feels good. The Mexican cacao, a sacred drink from the Mayas, serves as a tool to open our hearts and find the way to a deeper connection within yourself.

We start with a short introduction of ceremonial cacao and the ceremony. Together we ensure that we create a nice atmosphere, we talk about the theme of the ceremony and create space for everyone to set an intention.

Then we will take the time to connect with ourself and our physical body with the help of a guided meditation/visualisation to prepare our body and minds for the cacao.

After this the cacao ritual starts; the cocoa will be shared and drunk in silence. Accompanied by beautiful music, tailored to the theme, you are invited to enjoy the cocoa and turn inwards to explore what comes up.

After drinking the cocoa there is room to share what feels good, we talk to each other or enjoy the silence together.

We close with a short moment to reflect in silence and for those who want there is room to journal or talk a bit.
