Its accessibility makes it suitable for everyone — from those with physical limitations to high-performing athletes. And while it strengthens the body, it also nourishes the mind — promoting calm, focus, and resilience.
Who This Training Is For
This training is open to anyone with a curious body and an open mind.
Perfect for you if:
No prior teaching experience needed — just a passion for learning and moving!
However, you need to be familiar with the Pilates method and have a moderate strength and fitness and willingness to practise a lot on your own or in a studio between the training days.
What You Can Expect
This foundational Level 1 training is all about building a deep, embodied understanding of the Pilates method — from the core exercises to the principles that make them so effective.
Over the course of 50 hours, you will:
✅ Learn the Pilates Mat repertoire — including foundational exercises, variations, and safe modifications
✅ Dive into movement theory and functional anatomy, gaining insight into how bodies move, compensate, and adapt
✅ Explore the core principles of Pilates and how they show up in a class
✅ Develop body awareness and movement intelligence in your own practice
✅ Understand how to structure a mat session — from warm-up to integration
✅ Get an introduction to teaching skills, including cueing, observing bodies, and creating clear structure
While this training includes practice teaching moments, the primary focus is deepening one’s understanding of Pilates, its theory and mastering the body mechanics. Level 2 will build on this foundation with a stronger emphasis on teaching methodology, hands-on adjustments, and leading with confidence.
You’ll leave this training feeling stronger, wiser, and inspired — whether you go on to teach or simply move better through life.

I’m a Movement & Mindfulness professional with certifications in Kineticode® Pilates, BarreFloor, and Yin Yoga. My passion lies in exploring the human body — its mechanics, its capacity for change, and its unique way of expressing itself through movement.
Over the years, I’ve developed a teaching style rooted in curiosity, intuition, and embodiment. I approach movement as a living science — something to be felt, tested, observed, and understood from the inside out. Whether it’s anatomy, mobility, or functional patterns, I believe knowledge lands most deeply when it’s experienced in your own body.
Classes and trainings with me are a blend of precision and play. I love layering in different disciplines and musical textures, creating a space where learning is both joyful and grounded. You’ll be invited to listen inward, explore your edges, and build both awareness and confidence.
My goal? To guide people toward not only more mobility and control, but also a deeper relationship with themselves — physically, emotionally, and mentally. And always with a healthy dose of humour and lightness. Because movement should feel like an adventure, not a chore.
No! This training is designed for both beginners and more experienced students and teachers.
Yes! After completing the 50-hour training, you’ll receive a 50 hour Mat Pilates Teacher Training certificate. This certifies that you’ve completed the training and are equipped to teach Mat Pilates classes.
A notebook, comfortable clothing, an open heart, and a willingness to fully immerse yourself in the training. More details on what to bring will be sent after you sign up!
