Vinyasa Flow Techer Training is divided up into 11 weekends and spans over the course of 7 months.
We believe that yoga is highly personal and that it is from our own experience that a yoga student can become a guide and teacher to other people.
In this 200h Vinyasa Teacher Training you get the opportunity to become a confident, exceptional, qualified yoga teacher. We will share many tools (for details keep on reading), but most of all a space where you can develop your very own personal way of becoming a teacher.
You will walk away with a toolkit full of skills. Equally, if teaching is not in your plans, we will support you in living your yoga and gain deep understanding of the physical practice as well as the deeper layers of yoga.
The group is small and intimate with a max. of 16 students per training and most classes will be taught by our lead teachers Fleur & Marlene. For specific topics such as Anatomy or Ayurveda guest teachers (online or offline) will be invited.
Asana & Alignment
You will learn to understand your own body through yoga asana and to read the bodies around you. Understanding and working with alignment, its benefits and contraindications will take your practice to the next level. We will use this foundation to teach you how each body is unique and has different needs.
Embody the Flow
Ever experienced those yoga classes where everything seems to fall into place? Big chance you experienced ’Flow’. As a teacher you can guide your students into a flow. A specific combination of movement, breath, pacing, and transitions will build this. In this training you will learn the foundations of how to create ‘Flow’.
Art of Vinyasa Yoga
In this course, we will teach you the arc of a yoga class and how to break poses down into groups that have similar movements that complement one another. This allows you to put poses with similar functionality together easily to ensure safety and creativity based on understanding the method of Vinyasa Krama (steps by step progression)
The mechanics of breathing and Pranayama
You will learn how the breath works and how you can make the breath work for you;) Six pranayamas are waiting for you to be learned in depth and to be teached.
Inside into The Energetic Body
Everything is energy! And so the energetic body plays an extensive role in our training. There will be lots of time for you to ‘experience’ energy. But to fully understand it you will learn about the yoga energy systems. We will explore the chakras and the Kosha system. Both of them can support you to travel even more deeply into yourself. It will make it possible for you to work with energy as a (yoga) teacher in your classes as well as in your personal life.
Teaching Methodology
Unique to this training is that you will be guided into the art of teaching. Through a step by step method you will build the confidence to teach in a clear way. You will gain a deep knowledge of how the body works and why we move in a certain way. From that place you will be able to create cues and work with different levels.
Philosophy
One of our core values is the integration of the philosophy of yoga into daily life. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is the foundational text of yoga. We will read it through the lens of modern living. And you will discover how this ancient book is still very much up to date. You can expect to learn about the history and evolution of yoga in which a lot of wisdom is to be found.
Applied Anatomy
You will learn anatomy! Through our on-line anatomy course you will have to possibility to study with the world known yoga anatomy teacher David Keil who will teach you anatomy directly linked to the yoga practice. You will understand the principles of anatomy and body mechanics, the key muscles, bones, joints and connective structures and alignment principles that foster both understanding and safe application of asana practice.
The Art of Relaxation
Since yoga is all about creating balance, there will be attention for the art of relaxation as well. We will explore the difference between yin and restorative. And make you feel comfortable with teaching restorative poses. As an extra addition, we also offer yoga nidra practices during the training.
Physiology
The big regulator of our body is our nervous system. In these times of overload it’s often out of balance. A great way to bring this balance back … is yoga! How yoga influences our nervous system is one of the things you will discover. Learning to use it in your life and teaching.

Being a dancer, the body has always been fascinating to me. I learnt a lot about the body during my dancing years. And then I found out about yoga. It felt so familiar, but yet so different. The more yoga I experienced the more I discovered the deeper layers that can be found beyond the physical body. And the deep interconnection of body, breath, emotions, mind, and the subconscious. I love to bring western knowledge and ancient yoga teachings together so that yoga can be used practically in the midst of the waves of modern life.
Over the past 15 years I have been teaching, creating and guiding teacher trainings, workshops, retreats and immersions and recently graduated as a yoga therapist.
For me yoga is a way to explore yourself. To connect deeper to your own truth. So in every yoga experience I create a space where you can go on a journey with and within yourself. Through (gentle) vinyasa yoga, restorative, yin, meditation, yoga nidra, sound practices and yoga therapy I support you to experience yourself and life in a conscious way.
